Roasted pork shoulder recipe:
1 5 lb pork shoulder
1 Tbsp ground oregano
1 Tbsp onion powder
1/2 black pepper
1 Tbsp smoked paprika (optional)
2 medium oranges
4 limes
1 Tbsp chicken bouillon powder
3 tsp salt
2-1/2 Tbsp garlic paste
Method:
1. Rinsed and clean the pork shoulder and Pat it dried. Using a knife poke the pork shoulder making as many holds possible
2. In a container, squeeze the limes and oranges. Mix in the rest of the ingredients and whisk them together. Pour this marinate in the pork making sure you pour the marinade in the holes.
3. Cover the pork shoulder and let it marinade for about 3 hours or overnight. Once it comes out the fridge allow it to sit in the counter for 30 minute.
4. Bake at a 325 F/165 C for 3 hours with skin side up. Once the 3 hours has passed, increased the temperature of the oven to 375 F/190 C and let the pork shoulder cook for 1 hour or until the skin in crispy.
5. Allow to rest for 10 minutes before cutting into it.
