What is the Artemis II Mission?
As the first crewed mission of NASA’s Artemis program, four brave astronauts traveled 400,000 km away from Earth. Powered by the world’s most powerful rocket, the Space Launch System (SLS), and the Orion spacecraft, they tested vital life-support systems to ensure safety for the upcoming lunar landing on Artemis III.
