The Importance of Being Naked: Skin Cancer Check

Melanoma is one of the most treatable forms of cancer when it's detected early. Still, it is among the leading causes of death by cancer, and mortality rates are no better than they were 20 years ago. In this episode of If Our Bodies Could Talk, James Hamblin undergoes a basic skin-cancer check.

Mount Sinai Health System is an underwriter of the 2015 Aspen Ideas Festival, which is a co-production of The Aspen Institute and The Atlantic. Mount Sinai Health System did not provide funding or input for this video.
