Hit Multiple Sclerosis Hard! (Induction vs. Escalation Cohort Study from Denmark)
Is it better to treat multiple sclerosis conservatively, using the safest disease modifying therapies and only "escalating" to a stronger treatment if necessary? Alternatively, is it better to start with a highly-effective therapy ("induction therapy")? This propensity-score matched cohort study from Denmark suggests that early induction therapy leads to a lower risk of disability progression and relapses.
