Star Trek and Power Rangers and More at AwesomeCon Convention

While San Diego and New York Comic Cons are far more well known, Washington DC has a Con of its own. Awesome Con debuted at the DC Convention Center in 2013. The 2013 event drew about 7,000 attendees, but the 2017 event hosted 70,000. I attended the full 3 days of the event in 2021. Let me tell you about my experience, and hopefully it will convince you to attend this hidden gem in the future.
