Crossing Ukraine, Moldova, Romania Border by Car

Yesterday morning we threw a few big bags in the back of our van, buckled the kids and headed for the Ukraine/Moldova border.

It took us a good 4 hours of dodging potholes to get to the Southern border with Moldova, where we crossed out of Ukraine with a couple of other cars at a very small checkpoint.

Why did we leave?

2 words best describe it: rest and recuperation!

It's been a long hot summer and it seems ministry has only turned up the heat! Before we start developing some of these signs of burnout we decided we needed a break.

Thankfully our mission agency does a regional conference every 2 years and this year it came just in time! So we are off for a some spiritual refreshment and physical rest.

Please pray that we will get the rest we need.
