The Logitech G923 Trueforce Sim Racing Wheel is the newest wheel and pedal set from Logitech G. There's an Xbox One/Series X version and a Playstation 4/Playstation 5 version. At first glance it looks pretty much exactly like the current gen G29 wheel with a sleek new black on black color scheme. And on the outside it seems that's mostly true.

All thought the Xbox version of the G923 does get an immediately noticeable upgrade in it's number of buttons. It now has 20 inputs bringing it closer to the G29 and Playstation variant of the G923 which has 22 (two extra PS system buttons). PC Users may will likely go for the Playstation variant for the two extra buttons. Both system variants also now have the built in RPM gauge.

Logitech has teamed up with two time F1 world champion Fernando Alonso and his eSports team to market the wheel. The big change comes internally from the TRUEFORCE force feedback. This "Next Gen" force feedback leverages information sent directly from the physics engine and audio in support games. This along with some improved motor driver firmware and increased polling rate is Logitech's major new feature.

Sim Racers rely on what they can see on screen and feel through the wheel to make adjustments and know when they're losing grip or bumping into a large sausage curb. Logitech aims to provide more granular force feedback to both provide more immersion and more information for competitive sim racers to become faster.
