How to prevent your crawl space pipes from freezing. I need a way to keep my crawlspace from freezing that doesn't take a lot of electricity since my cabin runs on solar power. The best heating and cooling systems don't generate heat, they move it or concentrate it from one place to another. This fan blows warm air from the cabin into the crawl space which is now conditioned air like the rest of the cabin. We use an old thermostat, a solid state relay and a computer fan to get this done. Very basic automation.
