Micro-osteoperforations: Overcoming Saturation Point - Biology Of Orthodontics #005

In this video we introduce a method to overcome the saturation of the biological response to orthodontic forces called Micro-osteoperforations.
By introducing small perforations in the area of the moving tooth we can increase inflammation and activate the bone remodelling machinery. As a result of the increased bone remodelling we can accelerate tooth movement.
