Behind The Scenes:
Filmed on 16mm in the early 1970’s, the original was a 20 minute student film done by then aspiring filmmaker Keith Shartle. For the time, the project is an impressive feat. During his time working in Hollywood on some classic films (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0789350/?ref_=nv_sr_1) he had his 16mm projects preserved on Betacam and SVHS. After his death in 2000, his films were transferred to digital.

To pay homage to the classic grindhouse/arthouse of 70s film, TEAM BANZAI gave Keith’s film a remix and updated soundtrack. Enjoy the raw, vintage cheesiness that is BRUTE FORCE.
