Pocherong Baka | Pochero ng Katagalugan

A popular Filipino dish is specially prepared for important occasions. It has varying sauce runniness depending on the region. In Filipino cuisine, pochero (Spanish: Puchero; Tagalog: putsero) is a dish composed of beef chunks stewed with saba bananas (or plantains). The dish may also include potatoes or sweet potatoes, chorizos de Bilbao, bok choy, leeks, chickpeas, cabbage, and tomato sauce. Try my version of Pochero and comment what's your thoughts about this.

INGREDIENTS
Garlic, minced 6 cloves
Red Onions, sliced 2 Pcs medium
Cooking Oil 2 Tbsp
Beef, cubed 500 gms
Salt, iodized ½ Tbsp or to taste
Black Pepper, crushed ¼ tsp or to taste
Tomato Sauce 250 gms
Water 3 Cups (adjust to your preference)
Banana (Saba), sliced 4 Pcs
Sweet Potato (Kamote), sliced 2 Pcs (100 gms)
Potato (Patatas), quartered 2 Pcs medium
Pork & Beans 250 gms
Cabbage (repolyo), sliced 250 gms
