💧 My name is Mark. For a very long time I was suffering from insomnia. About two years ago (during first Covid-19 lockdown) I noticed that white noise created by rain is really relaxing and helped me to fall asleep much faster than during “dry” evenings. I decided to create a video channel with sounds of rain, so other people who suffer from insomnia could find the relief and sleep better. I also received messages from viewers, who use my videos for relaxing, study, it helps them fight with depression and anxiety. Some people also use it as tinnitus relief. I am really happy that my productions help so many people and I promise to carry on!

💧 Just a few words about my equipment and production process.
All videos I create are unique. You WILL NOT find any reused content in my clips.
Living in London really helps me. As you probably know we have plenty of rains here, which I record (both sound and video) and use later in my productions.
To deliver the best possible sound, I often use several different audio recordings and combine it into one, steady clip. I also decided that first 30 seconds of all my videos will show some calming, relaxing scene and then screen will fade to black, so you are not disturbed by unnecessary light.

For all my videos I use Sony and ZOOM microphones, Manfrotto tripods, GoPro and Canon cameras (sometimes also iPhone!), Sony and Sennheiser headphones. I use desktop PC with Vegas Pro and Audacity for sound mastering and video editing. I use Tannoy and Bose sound monitors and Yamaha amplifier to make sure the sound is right.
