Solvi Faering Time Lapse

After completing a highly successful expedition of the Mississippi and Atchafalaya Rivers with K&D, Solvi was sold. As "Solvig" she has recently completed the Race to Alaska (R2AK). Safely carrying her new owner another 800 miles through the Inside Passage of the Pacific Northwest in an engineless boat race.

This is a time-lapse of the construction of our 20' sail and oar faering named Solvi. The boat has a balanced lug sail, outriggers and carbon sculling oars.
