Horsetail Canyon is one of Valdez, Alaska’s Many Waterfalls in Keystone Canyon along Richardson Hwy

Horsetail Falls is situated in Keystone Canyon, approximately 17 miles away from Valdez town and only 1/3 mile from Bridal Veil Falls. Access to the falls is possible directly from the Richardson Highway, with a parking area available for vehicles and RVs, providing excellent photo opportunities. Visitors can easily walk up to the waterfall from this parking area. Alternatively, there's another option to reach Horsetail Falls via the Keystone Canyon Pack Trail, which includes a section crossing over Horsetail Creek above the falls.
