Why is my boiler not working

Ignition lockout is an extremely common fault, especially around winter with the typical frozen condensate ❄️❄️❄️

But another cause of ignition lockout is a blocked condensate trap!!

For this you WILL need a gas safe registered engineer to attend as well T’s interrupting seals on the heat exchanger.

This video shows the silt that collects overtime in the condensate trap that will eventually become dense enough to block the release of the condensate effluent and cause ignition lockout.

A good yearly service and regular maintenance will help to avoid this.
