Acoustic Lenses

This video demonstrates the capability to focus ultrasonic waves in water using a Plexiglas lens. The lens is constructed of concentric circular steps that produce constructive interference at the focal point. The waves are generated by an ultrasonic transducer (not visible in the video) below the plate.
