Teach with Canva | TEAPLC's Free Workshop - Day 1

Teach with Canva is a short and practical training program designed for teachers who want to enhance their lessons through creative digital design. In this workshop, teachers will learn to use Canva to design classroom posters, worksheets, presentations, and other learning aids.

By the end of this course, participant teachers will be able to
● Recognize the main functions of Canva for teaching.
● Design authentic teaching resources using free templates and elements.
● Apply Canva to lesson planning and instructional delivery.
● Share and collaborate using Canva’s education features.

Day 1 – Canva Basics for Teachers (2 hrs)
● Orientation & Introduction to Canva (10 mins)
● Exploring Canva dashboard & main tools: text, uploads, elements, templates (30 mins)
● Quick design principles: fonts, colors, layouts (20 mins)
● Hands-on activity: Create a classroom poster or worksheet (50 mins)
● Sharing & feedback (10 mins)
