Academic, Tapio Wirkkala (1915 - 1985 ) is one of the most successful Finnish artists through the ages.
He is the leading figure of modern Finnish design.
Wirkkala’s designs have found their way deep into people's hearts.
Presumably one reason for this is the delicate way he managed to catch nature’s movements in many of his designs.
