Staycation At Cabana Bay Beach Resort at Universal Orlando

Here's the Cabana Bay Beach Resort tour you have been looking for! We stayed in the Beachside tower and we give you a full tour! We also tried several drinks from the resort bar!

We have wanted to stay at Cabana Bay Beach Resort at Universal Orlando Resort for the longest time. We decided to stay one night to celebrate our anniversary! We booked a standard room at Cabana Bay Beach Resort at Universal Orlando Resort for one night. It was the perfect resort for an affordable staycation in Orlando, Florida! The resort is super family-friendly with plenty of amenities to keep everyone happy. One of the highlights of this resort is how budget-friendly it is but still providing a great themed experience. I especially loved the lazy river! If you're looking for a hotel in Orlando with a lazy river, this is the one! We were a little disappointed in our view. Cory was hoping for a few that faced the volcano at Volcano Bay. She saw on Instagram all of the in room pictures with that in the background. We did not request any type of room or view. I would recommend putting that in your special request and maybe just maybe you can get lucky with that view! If you're not sure what I'm talking about search Cabana Bay Beach Resort on Instagram! That view is awesome!

We did tell them it was our anniversary and they gave us two coupons for free drinks! The coupon is good for drinks at Starbucks, on-site bars, and fountain drinks. We already planned on trying different drinks, so this was perfect. We paid for our first drinks at The Hideaway Bar & Grill. At Cabana Bay, you can pay $15.50 for your first drink, and it comes with a souvenir tumbler cup, and then after that, refills in that same cup are $12.00. Our second drinks from the Atomic Tonic were free with our coupon! This coupon covered up to $14 of the price. I think this is a really good price for a mix drink along with a souvenir cup.

We finished off the night by ordering pizza from the Bayliner Diner. The Bayliner Diner was very busy around dinner time, we ordered the pizza online, and all we had to do was pick it up. The pizza wasn't anything special, but they did load each pie up with toppings. The pool did close due to lighting but they ended up opening it back up later in the night.

Overall, I enjoyed staying at Cabana Bay Beach Resort at Universal Orlando Resort is very affordable compared to other resorts at Universal Orlando Resort, and the mid-century modern theme is perfect!
