Tesla's Fremont Factory, located in Fremont, California is the first large scale Tesla production facility, long before its Gigafactories. It was acquired by Elon Musk and Tesla in 2010.

The first model S from Tesla Fremont factory was produced and delivered in 2012. This massive production facility is used by Tesla to produce the model S, the model 3, the model X, and the model Y. Tesla also used this facility for the production of the second generation roadster. Tesla Fremont Factory news have dominated the news related to Tesla production facilities since quite some time now. This is primarily because of the fact that this production facility remained as the biggest and the most important production facility for Tesla for quite some time.
