We Found John | The First SOLVED Case of My Career | BTS w/ Adventures with Purpose (John Zarkowski)

I am a documentary film maker on the team Adventures with Purpose. We specialize in Underwater Sonar and Recovery aiding in the search of lost loved ones in their vehicles underwater.

This particular case was my first Solved case on a 45 day cross country road trip. It would prove to be the first of many solved cases on this trip.

This is the Story of our Search for John Zarkowski.

John Zarkowski was 72 years old Vietnam Veteran living in Plattsmouth, Nebraska when he went missing. It was reported that John had colonoscopy surgery a few days before his disappearance and at 4:30am on September 4, 2021 decided to end his life.

This is the BEHIND THE SCENES story of a vigorous search for John. We locate a vehicle in the Missouri River but our dive team battles the fierce currents of the river in a tiresome effort to recover John.
