Blencathra Scrambling Day

Blencathra is a mountain for everyone - from walkers and mountain bikers to wild swimmers and scramblers. It hosts two amazing ridges, Halls Fell Ridge and Sharp Edge which act as a great intro to scrambling for anyone with a head for heights.

Sharp Edge is a bit of an accident black spot for the local Keswick Mountain rescue Team and should only be tackled on dry days with minimal wind. It does however make an excellent winter adventure for those experienced and appropriately equipped.
