Bakı Olimpiya Stadionu

Stadion 68000 tamaşaçı tutumuna malikdir və Böyükşor Qəsəbəsində salınmışdır. Stadionun inşası ARDNŞ tərəfindən maliyyələşib və Türk şirkəti Tekfen tərəfində Design&Build razılığı əsasında inşa edilmişdir.

Stadionun inşasına 6 İyun, 2011 tarixində başlanmışdır və mərasimdə Azərbaycan Respublikasının Prezidenti İlham Əliyev, FİFA prezidenti Yozef Blatter və UEFA prezidenti Mişel Platini, eləcə də dünya futbol ictimaiyyətinin görkəmli nümayəndələri, federasiya rəhbərləri, futbol veteranları və digər qonaqlar iştirak ediblər.

Stadion ilə yanaşı ərazidə bir neçə otel, 3617 maşın tutumuna malik dayanacaq və 81574 kv. metr yaşıllıq salınmışdır.

The stadium has a capacity of 68,000 and is based near the settlement of Boyuk Shor. The project is being funded by the SOCAR. The stadium has been awarded to the Turkish company Tekfen Construction and Installation Co.,Inc. with a Design&Build contract.

The construction of the stadium started on 6 June 2011 after President Ilham Aliyev and FIFA and UEFA presidents Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini attended the ground-breaking ceremony.

Along with the stadium, there was also built a number of hotels, parking venue (total 3,617 car places), and green space (81,574 square meters).
