The latest creation from haute-horologist Greubel Forsey is essentially their take on the ‘Sports Watch’ resurgence of 2019 which saw everyone from Bell & Ross to Lange & Sohne create collections around. Being Gruebel Forsey’s first foray into the world of sports watches they have done so in a manner fitting of the La Chaux De Fonds manufacture, featuring a host of complications and a new movement they have created one of the most expensive sports watches to date with the new GMT sport. We look at why it costs £390,000 and what defines it as a sports watch.
