I'm Waiting For Santa Claus (2021)

Deibler family tradition.
'Twas Christmas Eve and growing late. The crowds had gone at last. The Belfry bell was hushed and still. The snow was falling fast, and down in a humble neighborhood a tiny maid with longing heart within the doorway stood. A passer saw the little one who stood there in the cold and said:
"What are you doing here? You should be home instead."
"This is my home," the tot replied, and tenderly she said:
"I'm waiting for Santa Claus. I know he'll come this way, although he forgot to call on us last Christmas Day. I know, sir, that he won't mind because he is so good and kind. That's why I'm here, sir. I'm waiting for Santa Claus."
The stranger's arms were filled with toys that he was taking home, and he thought of his own baby girl whose heart was made of gold, and he said:
"Here, take these toys. I've some for you, and if your mother asks you where you got them, little maid, just say you met Santa's helper while upon his way, and he gave you these for Christmas because he heard you say:
'I'm waiting for Santa Claus. I know he'll come this way, although he forgot to call on us last Christmas Day. I know, sir, that he won't mind because he is so good and kind. That's why I'm here, sir. I'm waiting for Santa Claus.'"
