The MOST MISIDENTIFIED photo of Marilyn Monroe in the world!

From Marilyn Monroe to Fashionista!
Jimmy James is a renowned Voice Impressionist who started his career with his hauntingly accurate impersonation of Marilyn Monroe (talking & singing live!). His numerous appearances on TV talk shows in the late 1980s and throughout the 1990s brought him a generous amount of fame. He was on Donahue, Geraldo, Sally Jesse, Joan Rivers, CNN, RuPaul's VH1 Show, Joe Franklin, Jane Whitley, Marsha Warfield, Vicki Lawrence and more.... These were the vehicles by which he catapulted into becoming a very popular nightclub act. Act 1 was Marilyn Monroe, Act 2 was his legendary spot-on Voice Impressions which electrified audiences into standing ovations. However, by 1997 James retired the Marilyn part of his show to evolve and avoid getting stuck as an ageing Marilyn. James says, "I had to evolve. I was starting to do Marilyn longer than Marilyn did Marilyn."
He set his sights on expanding the Voices part of his show and began embarking on a career as a recording artist. His first dance single "Who Wants To Be Your Lover" (1998 Interhit Records) was produced by the Berman Brothers with remixes by Chris Cox and Barry Harris (later becoming Thunderpuss 2000) also Eric Kupper all of whom later went on to work with Britney Spears, Cher, Madonna, Whitney Houston and more...
In 2007 Jimmy James did something that got more attention on YouTube than his Marilyn or Voices ever did. He wrote and recorded a song entitled "Fashionista" (album JAMESTOWN iTunes/Amazon) which became a top 10 hit on the Billboard Dance Charts.
Over 35 Million Views on YouTube from fan-made videos.
The song has been licensed to film and TV.
BILLBOARD review for "FASHIONISTA."
"Fashionista," by veteran New York performance artist Jimmy James, is so damn clever, it is hard not to offer a howling squeal of approval before clicking replay -- again and again... this bitchy dance ditty is a worthy entry for mainstream approval. ---------- BILLBOARD Dance Charts.

Jimmy James is still touring, evolving and entertaining audiences everywhere.
