FRENCH COUNTRY FARMHOUSE DECORATING - ELEGANT & SIMPLE! PART 1 (109)

In this video, I showcase how you can take rustic, farmhouse, country & shabby chic decor pieces and give the rooms in your home a french country flare. I stage my home with items that I have on hand to make elegant but simple inviting spaces in my home. I demonstrate how to mix linen and cotton fabrics in the neutral palettes to create a warm aesthetic throughout my home displaying my curtains, pillows and furniture. I show how you can simply add contrasting wood pieces with rustic pieces to make them compliment one another. French country is very similar to farmhouse but it adds an elegant feature to be the statement piece. That may be a light fixture, chunky piece of furniture, chippy table or a white washed accent piece.
