The Slowest Escalator on YouTube @ Aeropuerto Internacional de Tocumen, Panama City, Panama

This Mitsubishi escalator literally moves one inch per second (until we reveal it's secret). It was unbranded but the landing plates looked similar to modern Otis landing plates, leading me to erroneously describe it in the video. We later found out that these were Mitsubishi escalators, which I had never seen before in the United States.

Of course, this isn't really the official slowest escalator on YouTube, but also this is not an illusion. This escalator has a power saving mode that uses an optical sensor to detect passengers (or the lack thereof). It immediately resumes normal speed when a person activates the optical sensor at the originating landing.
