The most unpredictable rally of the year. Relatively straight-forward asphalt roads in the French Alps are complicated by winter weather which places an emphasis on cunning tyre choices. Little is simple in the high mountains! Date: 23 - 26 January 2020

CAR SETUP
Asphalt suspension.
Wacky tyre selections which can include studded tyres on opposite corners of the car, matched with dry weather rubber.
Two spare tyres is normal.
Additional light pods for Thursday’s night stages.

WHAT´S NEW FOR 2020
Thursday afternoon’s start ceremony will take place in Monaco’s stunning harbour area as Casino Square is unavailable to the rally due to refurbishment work.
The opening stage of the 2020 season has not been driven since 1994. The 17.47km Malijai – Puimichel begins on the edge of Digne-les-Bains and will be broadcast live on global television.
Friday features the new 20.68km Saint-Clément – Freissinières test. It is located on a north-east slope overlooking la Durance and should provide good snowfall…
Saturday’s La Bréole – Selonnet stage switches to daylight after opening the 2019 event in darkness. It is driven twice this time around.
