Quarantine Chronicles 15 - 8th WWL Grand Prix, Tianmen Mountain, Zhangjiajie 天門山 By Katie Levick

The 8th World Wingsuit league took place in September 2019 at the wonderful Tianmen Mountain also known as Heaven's Gate. This is some of our footage from the 12 day adventure.
I was very happy to be invited to WWL and jump with some of world's Top Wingsuit B.A.S.E jumpers.
The competition consists of two main events. Speed and Target punch, which I like to call, Human Archery. I'm stoked to have place 2nd in the Target punch. Thanks to Nicholas Scalabrino for the Epic Outside footy of the Target Punch!
This was such an amazing experience for me. Traveling with beautiful girl-friend to a new part of China, flying with and making new friends at such a cool event.

Huge Thanks to James Boole and Jeb Corliss for organizing the sick event. Thank you to legendary ground crew guys and girls, the event would definitely not run smoothly without you. Big shout out to Tianmen Mountain Cableway for allowing us to play. Cheers to the Wingsuit Pilots for the fun and games. Lastly and probably the biggest thank you goes to Phoenix Fly and Atair for supporting the dream.

Tianmen Mountain is a mountain located within Tianmen Mountain National Park, Zhangjiajie, in the North Western part of Hunan Province, China.The Tianmen Mountain has one of the longest, highest mountain cableways in the world! This is a Video of the Wingsuit race held there every year.

第八屆世界翼服聯賽於2019年9月在美麗的天門山（又稱天堂之門）舉行。這是我們為期12天的冒險拍攝的一些錄像。
我很高興被邀請參加WWL，並與世界頂級Wingsuit B.A.S.E跳線一起跳。
比賽包括兩個主要項目。速度和目標拳，我喜歡稱之為“人類射箭”。我很激動，在目標拳中排名第二。
對我來說，這是一次了不起的經歷。與如此美麗的女友一起旅行到中國的新大陸，與之同行並結交新朋友。

Dì bā jiè shìjiè yì fú liánsài yú 2019 nián 9 yuè zài měilì de tiānmén shān (yòu chēng tiāntáng zhī mén) jǔxíng. Zhè shì wǒmen wéiqí 12 tiān de màoxiǎn pāishè de yīxiē lùxiàng.
Wǒ hěn gāoxìng bèi yāoqǐng cānjiā WWL, bìng yǔ shìjiè dǐngjí Wingsuit B.A.S.E tiào xiàn yīqǐ tiào.

Fēicháng gǎnxiè James Boole hé Jeb Corliss zǔzhīle zhècì bìngjià. Gǎnxiè chuánshuō zhōng dì dìqín rényuán, rúguǒ méiyǒu nín, zhè xiàng huódòng kěndìng bù huì shùnlì jìnxíng. Dà shēng hǎnjiào tiānmén shān kōngzhōng lǎnchē ràng wǒmen wán. Huānhū Wingsuit fēixíngyuán, xiǎngshòu qízhōng de lèqù hé yóuxì. Zuìhòu, yěxǔ zuì gǎnxiè de shì Phoenix Fly hé Atair zhīchí zhè yī mèngxiǎng.

Wǒmen de hǎo péngyǒu sà mǐ·wēi ěr ní niǔ sī (Sami Wilenius) pāishèle jièshào jìngtóu hé zhī jiān de yīxiē kuàisù jìngtóu. Zhǔyào yóu kǎi dì huò wǒ zìjǐ pāishè. Wǒmen hái tiānjiāle láizì DX Studio gōngzuò rényuán de éwài jìngtóu, shǐ měi gè shìjiàn de nèiróng dōu lìng rén jīngtàn.

Tiānmén shān shì wèiyú zhōngguó húnán shěng xīběi bù zhāngjiājiè tiānmén shān guójiā gōngyuán nèi de yīzuò shān. Tiānmén shān shì shìjiè shàng zuìzhǎng, zuìgāo de shān suǒdào zhī yī! Zhè shì měinián zài nàlǐ jǔxíng de Wingsuit bǐsài de shìpín.
