54" Bellanca CF - First Trim Flights - Model Airplane

First flights with Dave Mitchell's stunningly beautiful and detailed, 54" rubber-powered free-flight model of the Bellanca CF. Notes from the builder:
"My own plans, using NASM three views and information from the Smithsonian publication “Bellanca CF--The Emergence of the Cabin Monoplane in the United States”, plus personal photographs of the original aircraft on display at the Udvar-Hazy NASM in Virgina.  54” span, rubber-powered, balsa and tissue construction.  Scale airfoil. Cabin siding is 1/64” balsa colored with Pan Pastels and shellac. Covered with Easy Built Mt. Fuji tissue. Prop is a 14" antique Paulownia. Motor is 12 strands of 3/16", each 40" long.
