Jay and I knew each other since college , but never had the chance to get to know one another that much. After nine long years, he randomly messaged me "Kamusta?", we catch up a bit. Right after my solo trip in Japan, he again messaged me and by then we didn't notice that we've been messaging and calling each other everyday. We are one of those couple who started and grew their relationship thru Facebook, since Jay is living in Australia while I'm in the Philippines. He went back home last April 2019, that was our first time to met again and we decided to finally make it official. In just a month of being together we decided to put it in the next level. That's why just before he go back in Australia he talked to my parents and asked for my hand. Our love story may seem so fast but maybe this is what true love is when you feel you don't want to lose this person you make a way just like what Fr. Ariel said during our wedding ceremony "Hindi mapipigil ang damdamin ng isang umiibig, hindi makakahintay".

Just before we had our wedding lots of challenges came up, like the possibility of Taal Volcano erupting again, the safety of the venues if earthquake hit us, the start of COVID-19 pandemic and losing an angel. Two months before our wedding all of those happened, we didn't know if we can still go on with our wedding. But God made a way, lots of people help us to cope and at the same time the activity of the volcano lessen that made us feel safer to go on with our wedding. We really felt God's grace during this moment, that us being together as one is truly God's plan. We also felt that everything happened according to His plan when we were able to had our wedding just before the scare of COVID-19, wherein the government begin to suspend mass gatherings. Our wedding was really a blessed day, not just for us but also for our guest as nothing bad happened during the entire event.

Now, we are on our way to our third month as husband and wife and we still feel how perfectly God's plans is. We our now here in Australia starting our life together, thankful that we were able to get here just before Philippines and Australia announced lockdown.

Hope we're able to inspire other couples and even those singles out there, that when God finally give you your true love, no one can really stop it. God Bless!
