Nikon P1000: Mega Zoom Test - Hatsushima Island (24KM)

You may have realised I have an affinity for small islands when it comes to my #Nikon #P1000 and things to #MegaZoom in on, there is something about an capturing the entire activity of a population in one shot that fascinates me.

This weeks Mega zoom takes us to Japans Hatsushima Island, a small island in Sagami Bay not far from Tokyo, an Island with a long history but a permanent population that rarely breaks 200. An Island barely known to the outside world let alone those in Japan, an island with a tragic love story that would bring the island to a standstill and be sung about for generations to come.
