TEST BIKE! Merida eOneSixty 8000 at Llandegla

Massive thanks to Run and Ride, Hednesford for allowing us to take the bike "out of bounds" for a day in Llandegla!

The Merida eOneSixty 8000 is a fully capable Enduro eBike, with a few personal minor adaptions it would have felt incredible!

Having a 29" front wheel and 27'5 really made a difference, strange at first especially in the tight corners but once you throw it in she grips like an F1 car. The bike felt alive one we fettled with the suspension and really encourage you to ride it faster and faster. With the motor turned off there was little to no drag, meaning your focus can be on riding rather than watching the battery life indicator.

Battery life was very good, temps reached a cool 1C but the battery wasn't affected in performance like some of the other bike brands, we used Eco and rail mainly and ended the ride with 3 out of 5 lines left on the Shimano screen.

Merida, hats off to you for creating a fully usable eBike that is capable of some Downhill carnage, feels alive over jumps and climbs with ease!
