Hurricane Florence North Carolina became a prison of islands as unprecedented flooding swept across the state cutting off access between families and devastating homes and businesses. This video is a Time-Lapse of sorts, showing the flooding of a community in Chatham County from beginning to end.

Because Chatham County is not included in the FEMA Disaster zone these individuals cannot apply for any of the disaster relief programs offered by the Federal Government. They cannot even ask their lender for a forbearance.
