House Speaker Lashes Out At Boris Johnson's Government In House of Commons

The Speaker of the House Lindsay Hoyle finally grew some and called out the government for leaking information to the media about the new post-lockdown tier system. This was brought to the attention of the Speaker by Valerie Vaz Labour MP as a point of order. The Speaker lashed out at the Secretary of State and the Government saying that is was totally disrespectful of Parliament to take such action. Mr. Hoyle said that it was unacceptable to put important information that should be presented to parliament online first.
