*Video @2:05 is from a Tesla. For those unaware, tesla vehicles have a number of onboard cameras recording 24/7.
Having watched this a number of times we feel this is a deliberate act of vandalism/malicious damage, there is more than sufficient room between the cars and the driver makes no attempt to secure door when opening. Police were contacted and shown footage. Unfortunately it can not be proved beyond a reasonable doubt that there was an intention to deliberately damage the vehicle without any prior incident occurring between the two parties.
