VW T25/T3 2.5 Subaru Conversion using MK4 CAN Bus Engine

Here's a little video of a VW Subaru conversion undergoing wiring mods. Aside from the ECU, the conversion will use the body integrated unit (BIU), alarm and clocks from the donor car. An enclosure in the engine compartment will house the ECU, engine relays and engine related fuses. The loom will extend to the dash where the BIU, alarm, clocks and an additional fuse box are located. The VW steering column has been modified to accept the Subaru key.

The essential part of this conversion is the simulation of the ABS module, without this the engine will not run and you will get a high speed CAN Bus error. The ABS simulator accepts a speed pulse and then modifies this for broadcast on the HC CAN Bus.
