How to paint a sunset

A step-by-step tutorial on how to paint a sunset in oils by Dutch painter Janhendrik Dolsma. From the colors he uses to his brushes, from the substrate he works on to the steps to follow in the painting process.

Dolsma (1950) is an expert painter of clouds, beaches, dunes and of course the ocean. On his Youtube channel he shares a lifetime of painting experience in short tutorial videos with an emphasis on painting clouds.
