Congress-led UDF MPs from Kerala clash with Delhi police against K-rail project
A scuffle broke out between Kerala's UDF MPs and police personnel in New Delhi. The MPs from Kerala alleged that they were ‘attacked and manhandled’ by Delhi police. The MPs were protesting against the proposed semi-high-speed K-Rail-Silverline Project in the state. The MPs said they were taking out a protest march from Vijay Chowk to Parliament when they were stopped. A cop handling the situation at the spot said that there was some confusion over the identity of the people. Police said the staff on duty stopped them but later allowed them to go but denied the manhandling charge. Watch the full video for more.
