Rego-Fix | Meet powRgrip - Fully Automated Tooling System — IMTS 2018

REGO-FIX's fully automated tooling system includes the company’s powRgrip unit, an articulated robot and a Zoller tool presetter. At the show, the robot grabs a cutting tool loaded in a collet and inserts the pair into a powRgrip holder that loads into the powRgrip unit that presses the tool into the holder. The robot then conveys the tool and holder assembly over to the tool presetter that measures for tool length and offset. That information is then feed to an intended machine tool. www.rego-fix.com
