This is a rare composition of Oothukadu Sri Venkata Kavi from SDN Archives (2008).

The Keerthanam depicts a devotee engaged in an interesting monologue with Lord Muruga. The song is preceded by a couple of verses from Kandhar Alankaram.

O Muruga, while You have twelve hands to bless me with Your bountiful boons, I have only two to receive them!

O Muruga, who dwells in Thanigai hills, will it suffice even if I have a crore hands to receive all that You shower on me!

To the one who comes seeking just one, You bless them with nine! O Muruga, who majestically rides on the peacock holding His lance, You have twelve hands to bless me with Your bountiful boons, while I have only two to receive them.
