Spending those 4 days in Miyakojima was a dream come true for me! Growing up in Germany means that the summers are cold and the beaches are grey and the ocean water is cold so I could not believe the temperature and color and transparency of the beautiful ocean surrounding the islands of Miyakojima, it truly felt like paradise! And best of all - it was all still in Japan, which means I did not have to travel to a different country!
