Whole House Fan with Smart Switch

How to install a whole house fan with a smart switch. I chose a 24" direct drive fan and am using a TP-link smart switch to turn the fan on and off. Also tried using some 2" acoustic foam glued into the corners to dampen noise. This worked well and did lower the noise level slightly.
My testing shows the house will cool down 4 degrees after 2 hours of running the fan on low speed. (10 degrees cooler outside)
