#22 1 year in Italy: Planting olive trees & our first harvest

It’s been exactly one year since we bought our abandoned farmhouse in Umbria! To celebrate our first anniversary living in Italy, we decided to plant three new olive trees. But, as always with renovation life, it wasn't quite as straightforward as we'd hoped.

The Italian soil was a nightmare to dig—full of roots, rocks, and thick clay. After the struggle of planting, we finished off by having our very first mini olive harvest and helping our neighbour with her 70 trees!
