Ibrahima Konate has confessed that he struggles to articulate his emotions regarding Jurgen Klopp's upcoming departure but is determined to dedicate himself entirely to ensure the success of the manager's remaining months.
Klopp's surprising decision to leave Liverpool was announced last week, citing a lack of energy to continue as the club's boss. This revelation came at a time when Liverpool led the Premier League by five points and had strong positions in the Europa League, FA Cup, and League Cup.
In an interview with Liverpoolfc.com, Konate, signed by Klopp in 2021 and a winner of the League Cup and FA Cup during his time with the Reds, has urged himself and his teammates to maximize success in the last four months of Klopp's tenure.

When questioned about whether Klopp's departure would serve as added motivation for Liverpool players in pursuing trophies, Konate affirmed, "Absolutely. When he revealed his decision [to leave], in my mind, I thought, 'In the last four months, I must dedicate my all for him now.' It's a significant moment for the club and the fans. However, as the manager stated, for the upcoming game against Chelsea, we must not dwell on this. If the fans can support us in ensuring Chelsea realizes they are away at Anfield, it would be fantastic for us."
