“Keepin Em Flyin”

It’s no secret that these aircraft take a lot of time/money/resources to keep them airworthy. Here at our museum it’s no different, day in and day out I see multiple volunteers stopping in to help with various aspects of keeping the museum going. It takes all kinds, and we need all kinds! Folks capable of flying and fixing the jets might seem like the obvious but in reality, it’s much much more than that. We have folks who come in to help fix toilets, hang lights, clean floors, organize parts rooms, clean the aircraft, and yes…fix and fly the assets. But each volunteer is important and I wanted to take a couple of minutes to acknowledge it! Thanks to everyone who owns, operates, flies, maintains, cleans, and otherwise volunteers to organizations to make sure it’s possible to do what our mission statements declare!
