Advanced screening views of the fetal heart - Part 6 - Longitudinal views
The tutorial, from Dr. John Simpson, provides effective guidance and practical tips to lower the threshold for efficient ultrasound examinations of the normal fetal heart. He covers two types of examinations. The key views to use in screening for congenital defects, in both theory and practice. Complemntary, advanced views, using color- and pulse doppler, to assess valve and vessel flows, for more detailed evaluations. Dr. Simpson is a professor of pediatric and fetal cardiology, and has been a consultant at the Evelina London Children;s Hospital since 1999, where he leads the echocardiography service.
