Honda Z50 (1977) Pt 2. $110 big bore kit install. 50Cc to 88cc FAST as F@ck

So the 1977 Z50 needed to be rebuilt, so while searching I saw an 88cc big bore kit.. said what the heck!! Huge difference in HP gains! For $130 its so cheap, err I mean inexpensive! This big bore works on the Crf50 Xr50 Z50 Crf Xr 50 Z50R too!

There IS a timing chain tensioner on these Z50 bikes, its in front of the shift lever.

Picked up a 1984 Z50r, I am addicted!

Honda Z50 Specs
The Honda Mini Trail 50 is part of the Z series of minibikes built from 1964 until 1998. Also called Monkey bikes and Gorillas, the small, lightweight trail bikes have folding handlebars for easy transportation. They were one of Honda's biggest selling line of motorbikes
They feature a single-cylinder, air-cooled, 49 cc overhead-cam engine. The four-stroke motor has a bore and stroke of 39 mm by 41.4 mm with a compression ratio of 8.8:1. It produces 4.5 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and attains a top speed of 30 miles per hour.
They have a three-speed manual gearbox with a foot-lever operated centrifugal clutch or an easy-shift three-speed semi-automatic. The bikes have chain and sprocket final drives. The front suspension consists of telescopic springs with rigid rear suspension. The 3.50-by-8-inch tires were low-inflation types at 14 psi.
Weight:108 lbs. dry and 115 lbs. Wet. It's 48” inches long, 26.5 inches tall with folded handlebars (34” tall opened) and 14 inches wide with folded pegs. It's wheelbase is 43.5. inches. Seat height 24”
