Climbing Santorini's Active Volcano! | Hot Springs & Volcano Tour Santorini All You Need To Know

I've always wanted to experience the thrill of climbing an active volcano and I finally got to do that on my trip to Santorini!! We took the Nea Kameni Volcano and Palea Kameni Hot Springs tour and trust me, it was totally worth it!!! First we climbed up the volcano and roamed around the crater. The trek up the volcano wasn't too difficult but I definitely recommend that you wear sports shoes and appropriate clothing...and don't forget to carry water and sunscreen!!!
After walking the volcano we took a short ferry ride to Palea Kameni Hot Springs. It is believed that the thermal waters of Palea Kameni have many healing and therapeutic qualities that can benefit people with skin issues, rheumatism, arthritis, and may other ailments. I definitely recommend you visit this place whenever in Santorini. I'm not a swimmer so I was not allowed to get in to the water but if you can swim, definitely don't miss out on this chance and take a dip!!!
After a long and eventful day exploring the volcano and hot springs, our tour guide took us to Kamari Beach. This black sand beach is definitely worth a visit. The water here is crystal clear!!
